The 2022 NFL Draft is a mere 36 days away, and the NFL landscape has dramatically shifted. This draft class is very nearly the polar opposite of the most recent one; quarterbacks dominated the news cycle before five of them went in the top 20 picks. This year, the defensive group stands out.
I have studied just 157 players this year, but I feel pretty confident that my top 50 players are set. When I reach 200, I plan to drop a top 100 big board (and yes, I will reach 200). None of these players were evaluated with less than three games completely viewed, and most of these players were evaluated with four or more viewed.
Here’s what the numbers mean:
Generational - 93-100
Top 5 - 89-92.9
Top 10 - 84-88.9
1st Round - 78-83.9
2nd Round - 72-77.9
3rd Round - 66-71.9
4th Round - 60-65.9
5th Round - 54-59.9
6th Round - 48-53.9
7th Round - 42-47.9
Priority Free Agent - 36-41.9
XFL Bound - 0-35.9
